We try our best to cater to everyone’s needs, but unfortunately, we're not always able to personalise a bag to the degree required for some allergies - that's because we want to be 100% sure the food you're eating is safe!
Depending on your requirements, you might find our My Gluten Free Bag or Plant Power bag does the trick:
My Gluten Free Bag:
We are now offering a Gluten Free Bag to make it easier for people who need to follow a gluten free diet. This is suitable for people who need to avoid dietary gluten including people with gluten intolerance and Coeliac Disease. This bag is available for 3, 4 or 5 nights and for serves 2 or 4 households.
This My Gluten Free Bag does not contain any gluten containing grains which includes wheat, barley, rye and oats or derivatives of these grains such as bulgar wheat and cous cous. It also does not contain any products, sauces or spice mixes containing gluten. Foodies are expected to provide gluten-free pantry staples like soy sauce and sweet chili sauce.
You will see a variety of alternative carbohydrate sources used in these recipes including quinoa, brown and white rice, legumes, starchy and root vegetables and gluten free bread and pasta products.
Plant Power
Our Plant Power bag gives you the option to choose from a range of vegetarian and plant-based meals each week! This bag is perfect for those looking to reduce their meat consumption or simply avoid lamb, beef, or pork. There are 7 delicious plant-based and vegetarian meals on the menu each week.
For more specific food allergies, such as peanuts or shellfish, you'll find that all potential allergens will be listed on the products provided as well as on the recipe that you can preview before making your meal selections on 11.59pm on Monday. From spice mixes to sauces, you'll always be able to double check what's in your meal and make any necessary substitutions - and if you need suggestions please send us a message here and we can get some ideas from our fabulous test chefs in our Development Kitchen who can give advice on what to do.
