Our nutritionists and recipe developers follow the plate model when designing your meals - this is typically ½ plate non-starchy vegetables, ¼ protein and ¼ carbohydrate source - These recommendations are in line with Ministry of Health guidelines.
We prioritise whole, minimally processed foods with a focus on quality but, serving sizes and overall nutrition profile do vary depending on the meal.
Generally our bags are designed to serve 1, 2 or 4 people, but we all have different nutritional requirements and the amount of people a bag serves can change depending on who's eating! We find some families will make this stretch to feed more, whilst others less (if there are hungry teenagers around!).
